About Troop 440
Troop 440 meets on Mondays 6:30 – 8:00pm at Hahira Community Church. We try to go camping once a month. We are in the Alapaha District of the South Georgia Council. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Join Our Troop
Youth can join Scouts BSA if they are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade and register on or after March 1st; OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.
